Temporary changes to the Practice – from Monday 6 April 2020 for 12 weeks

As you are aware the NHS is currently dealing with the Coronovirus pandemic and in order to help us to help you, the practice needs to make some temporary changes to continue to provide healthcare and advice when you and your family need it most.

From Monday 6 April, you will NOT be able to walk into this practice any longer.

Should you need to speak to your practice, you will need to call the practice 0121 554 1812

If you have a medical problem you will be assessed by a GP/Practice Nurse over the telephone.

If they decide you need to be examined they will make an appointment for you at Tanhouse Clinic, Hamstead Road, Great Barr.

The NHS is limiting Face-to-Face consultations due to Covid-19.

It is important that we all do our bit to support the NHS locally as it continues to see and treat you, your family and friends.

Appointments

Our practice is working in partnership to provide additional GP appointments between 6.30pm – 8pm during the week and also over the weekend, If you need access to an evening or weekend non-urgent appointment, please call and speak to the receptionist at your registered practice during normal opening hours.
Your appointment may be with another practice in the area and may not be at your registered practice.

All clinics are run by appointment. You can book an appointment by phone or at reception.

When booking an appointment you will be requested to give a reason for the appointment. Please do not be offended as your information will remain confidential. It is optional to give this information; however, it helps us to ensure that you see the appropriate professional and the right priority is given to your problem.
